Welcome to Minster Veterinary Practice
As an independent Veterinary Practice, Minster Veterinary Surgery was established in the 1950s as a typical rural farming practice, attending to both large and small animals. The current partners, Mr Ross O’Brien and Ms Joyce Flemming were employed in the late 1990s. In 2005 the practice separated into large and small animal so today Minster Vets specialises in domestic pets only.
The two partners, Ross and Joyce have different interests in the veterinary field and this facilitates a broad spectrum of subjects. Ross’s interests include anaesthesia/ pain management, cardiology, dermatology and exotics. Joyce is particularly interested in ophthalmology, feline medicine and soft tissue injury.
Our aim is always to provide the highest standard of care to your pet, treating them as we would treat our own, whilst communicating and listening to your input on the most appropriate course of treatment for your animal.
Minster Vets is an RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) accredited practice ensuring that strict criteria are in place. It is also a nurse training practice and offers work-experience to the next generation of Veterinary Professionals.
